Rowan has been having an extraordinary birthday week! So many wonderful blessings that I need to break these up into several posts. This one will cover the amazing slumber party Rowan had on Saturday night with two of his friends from Woodlawn Theater, and the awesome cards that have been pouring in from the mail all week (surprisingly most are from Ohio...I suspect Marty Tayloe had something to do with that:), and a special package that arrived...
The Slumber Party

Rowan was so thrilled to have David and Andres over for a sleepover. It made him "feel like a normal kid". And boy did they have fun!

This came from a family stationed at Fort Sam Houston, who follows Rowan on Facebook. They included official U.S. Air Force patches that were used in Afghanistan during the Dad's deployment there in 2010-2011! What an honor to receive these special treasures. Thank you Nichols Family!
A Special Package
Thank you Sylvia for the absolutely perfect gifts for Rowan! He waited until it was officially his birthday today and opened them this morning. I'm pretty sure his smile tells it all. He LOVED everything! Thank you so very much.
